For over 50 years, H.A. Sheldon Canada Ltd. has been handcrafting quality fashion belts. In addition to our manufacturing facility in Toronto, we have developed a strong network of accessory factories in both Asia and Italy for both belts and small leather goods. Our mens belts span a wide variety of styles, ranging from elegant dress to denim casual. Our young mens belts are graphically bold and up-to-date and appeal to teens and tweens alike. Belts, wallets, cuff links, and suspenders are sold under private labels, proprietary brands, and licensed brands.

Golf Collection
Our golf collection is designed and marketed for the global golf market. In North America we market our line under the Canterbury Golf brand. In markets outside the USA and Canada, our collection is sold under the Glenayr Golf name. Belts are our business. We are a one stop shop for classic, modern, and fashion styling which is sure to complement the latest fashion trends in golf and everyday apparel. totes®
In 1924, the company was founded in Oakley, Ohio, a small suburb of Cincinnati.
The plant was moved to Loveland, Ohio in 1942 where the very first totes rubber rain boots were manufactured.
These rubber rain boots, called "totes" to emphasize how portable and easy-to-carry they were, eventually became the company's most popular product.

Manufacturing
H.A. Sheldon Canada Ltd. has been manufacturing leather goods for over 35 years. Our production staff has an average of 17 years of service with the company. Their hands on experience coupled with lean engineered operational processes gives Sheldon a competitive advantage over companies based solely on importing. Domestic production reduces cycle time, allows better quality control and allows a quick reaction to fashion trends and customer requests.
Technology
H.A. Sheldon Canada Ltd. is an industry leader in electronic replenishment and inventory management.
Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) systems allow us to provide retailers with maximum performance opportunities and
timely sales analysis data. We offer vendor managed programs which maximize turnover and profitability for our customers.
We currently employ AS2 (direct business to business) communication technology with many of our retailers and are able to provide and receive all standard business documents such as (850) Purchase Orders and (856) Advance Ship Notices.
Our manufacturing facilities also include the ability to produce custom UPC barcoding tickets and labels based on the
customer's needs, using various symbologies such as UPC-A, Code 39 and UCC 128 among others.
We perform routine daily transmission and receipt of EDI documentation to ensure expedient and efficient business for our EDI trading partners.
Product Development
By researching and translating the latest trends via international trade shows, market shopping, trend research data bases, and strong relationships with our supplier base, H.A. Sheldon's design team provides products and programs which cater to the individual target markets of our customers.
As a manufacturer, we have first hand experience in the intricacies of leather goods production which ensures consistent quality for both domestic and imported goods.
In addition to our design team, we have unlimited access to Tandy Brands Accessories' designs, purchasing strategies and brand name associations.
Vendor Management
For over 30 years H.A. Sheldon has run successful vendor managed replenishment programs with major Canadian retailers. Using the sales knowledge gained over this period we tailor accessory programs to provide the right styles, colours and size distribution to ensure our customers are "in stock" while maximizing inventory turns and return on investment.
We are fully EDI capable and can set a replenishment program to use sales data provided in any format. Our account managers regularly review sales data to ensure our product is performing at optimum levels. We provide our customers with detailed sales analysis, program summaries and action recommendations.
